Google’s Latinx ERG Carnival 2026
Visual Campaign Design
OVERVIEW + BRIEF
HOLA, Google's Employee Resource Group, is dedicated to drive and foster connections among Googlers who share a deep passion for Latinx, Hispanic, and Latin American culture by engaging and cultivating a vibrant community across regions. HOLA embraces the multidimensional identities within the Googler community globally. They strive to cultivate a strong supportive HOLA group providing skills and connections that advance their products and company's mission while celebrating community members who are shaping the future through innovation.
To celebrate the vibrant cultural moment of Carnival, they sought a talented designer to create a captivating visual identity to unify their internal employee program around the world. This project offered an exciting opportunity to contribute to HOLA’s mission.
DELIVERABLES
Because this was primarily an online celebration, the deliverables focused on digital assets and internal use. The brand kit was intentionally kept flexible, as it would be shared globally across different regions where production sizes and specifications (like backdrops and banners) varied. The final assets included:
3 GVC (Google Conference Call) backgrounds
Newsletter and website headers for internal use, plus examples of implementation
A “Carnival 2026”-themed deck template
Mockups for possible physical items (t-shirts, tote bags, stickers)
A “moodle”, designed for internal use similar to Google Doodles
and a MOMA badge, given to employees who participated in any Carnival celebrations
